I was discussing with a fellow trainer recently who is holding himself back from creating his “dream” fitness business.
What's holding him back?
Fear of putting himself out there. Fear of failure. Fear of being judged. Fear of choosing the wrong path. Fear of not being good enough.
Do any of these fears sound familiar?
The truth is, they're more prevalent than you think. You're not alone.
After six years of consistently putting myself out there and publishing content for my fitness biz, I still feel these fears.
These fears cause us to hesitate, divert ourselves, console ourselves with food and social media and shopping and games, avoid even thinking about it and punish ourselves up for not doing anything.
So we allow fear to cause us to withdraw from taking the action we want, or to make those actions less fun.
If we could deal with these fears, we’d be freakin’ rock stars.
